Lady Captain’s Thorpeness Away Weekend 2023

My Captain’s Away Weekend was spent at Thorpeness.

21 ladies made the trip playing two rounds of golf.

Unfortunately our second round was played in rain but very determined ladies would not be beaten by the weather.

We played individual stableford both days.

Sundays winner was Sandra Griggs, 2nd was Glennis Coplestone and best back 9 Sheila Fardell.

Mondays winner was Nisha Mehta, 2nd Susanne Pye and best back 9 Vcky Ainger.

On Sunday evening we enjoyed a lovely dinner followed by a quiz organised by Jenny Roden.

Jenny also organised for us to receive a mulligan each day costing £5 with total money of £105 going to Mitchell’s Miracles.

Some lucky ladies won a raffle prize with their mulligans..

A very successful weekend and I can’t thank the ladies enough for making it so.
