Captain’s Day 2023

My Captains Day saw 53 players (ladies and gentlemen) out on the course.

The weather was kind although we did experience a couple of showers.

After 9 holes the players were greeted at the halfway house by Barbara, Chris and Viv and served sweet and savoury treats, Pimms and beers.

After play we sat down to a very nice hot and cold buffet with naughty doughnuts and profiteroles.

Presentation of prizes followed with announcements by Mark Shepherd.

Ladies 1st prize went to Hazel 2nd to Pat Field on C/B 3rd prize to Helen.

Nearest the pin Christine Nearest the line Pauline.

Mens 1st prize went to Danny 2nd prize to Mike Hayward Longest drive Jono Wood

Nearest the pin Andrew Miles. Guest winner Jono Wood 2nd Tony Ward.
