Presented by the members, 18 hole stableford, open to all club members, . To be played off 90% of club playing handicap. 7 day competition, only one entry per player, players 1st round to count in competition. Played of White Tees.

Alfred Whale Trophy

Alfred Whale Trophy

An over 55’s stableford competition over 18 holes, playing off 90% of Club handicap. Played off the White Tees. This competition also acts as a trial for the Essex Seniors over 55’s team with a chance to represent Maylands GC.

Presented by Jose Carrasco-Martin in memory of Severiano Ballesteros. An 18 hole stableford, open to all club members. To be played off 90% of club playing handicap. Played of White Tees.

Presented by The Irish members in 1984. An 18 hole stableford, open to all 7 day club members. To be played off 90% of club playing handicap. Played of White Tees.

Presented by Mrs Alcock in loving memory of her Husband. A mens singles knockout competition. Played as a qualifying stableford 18 hole competition with the top 8 or 16 players, dependant of number of original entries, playing in a singles matchplay knockout competition. Full playing handicap allowance.  Played of White Tees.

Presented by Mrs V Tidmarsh in loving memory of her Husband, Carl Fisher their daughter Mrs Margaret Fisher whose Husband was a founder member of the club donated the prize. 18 hole medal competition, open to all 7 Day club members.
